Hoots: it would be amazing if we could put cocoa beans on any wood type instead of only jungle. Fully grown cocoa beans look like coconuts but we cant put them on any wood type other than jungle which, lets be honest isn't the prettiest wood type out there.

Barza: I also said that and forgot to elaborate I got sidetracked sorry. Anyways, that was in reference to the attack on jungle wood; I think it's quite nice. Personally, it doesn't make sense for them to work on other woods? I think there's a point to them having a specific growth mechanic. cocoa beans on birch, for example, wouldn't make sense at all.

Barza: If you really wanted to be creative with it, you could make it possible to be placed on all wood types, but it will only grow on jungle wood. On other woods, you'd have to bonemeal it. That way it makes sense for its growth, while allowing it to be used for builds (as, I assume that's what you mean by "coconuts"

i agree with this, it doesnt make sense at all. additionally, cocoa beans are definitely not coconuts, despite the visual similarity. If you want it for server builds hoots, youre more than welcome to use worldedit (i.e. Thunder used mangrove wood for coconut trees in the minigame lobby (although he used custom heads instead of cocobeans)) but we aren't going to add it to survival.
