4 months ago Knack: Add a /Building Guide or something command that lets players know what certain command options are that may not be as obvious especially to newer/vanilla players.
For example, it would list things out or send a link to a list giving quick suggestions like:
/hdb (Mob head data base, use this to get custom mob heads! Free in creative, and can be purchased in survival in exchange for event tokens!)
/Shop (need something you can't find? You'd be surprised what blocks are for sale, check it out!
/Flag? I forget the command lol (want a custom banner? Check out this shop to get something special! Or submit an inquiry to get your own, non-vanilla possible custom flag here!
Anything that could be associated with building etc
Or, if in creative mode specifically:
Want to build fast and become build master? Try these commands and more! To start, equip an unenchanted wooden axe, or use /wand ! Then, select your area to work with! Left click to set point one, then right click for point two, this will create a box to use the command!
Here's some command examples to try:
// Replace Air Water
//Set stone
Don't like what you did? Use /back to undo it!
Etc etc, you get the idea
It's hard to search for the right things sometimes , and like me or my little brother who doesn't always know where to look for it, knowing even what mods or plug ins i should be looking at specifically can be difficult. And depending on the time, a builder or admin won't always be available to give that info. This streamlines the process for everyone, and maybe adding it to the random tips that pop up, of like:
"Trying to build? Check out '/Builders Guide' for a list of commands!" So I think a tutorial or a command that gives a quick list for players would make a huge difference. Especially now with this building contest, me and a lot of friends had an excuse to hop back on, I love that. I want to see it more often, so giving less experienced players like us the leverage to understand how the master builders do stuff, gives us a chance to do something big and enjoy these contests even more too.
