Browser compatibility #80

Mirador does not appear to work on the following browsers -

Internet Explorer 9 - 'console is undefined' error message appears, no windows loaded. Safari - No windows loaded and no content in Load Windows menu

It appears to work well in -

IE 10,11 Firefox Opera Chrome

Although IE 9 is not the latest version, it is currently the version installed by default on our Windows 7 machines throughout the British Library, so without IE 9 compatibility it would be difficult to promote it within the British Library as an image viewer.

Doesn't appear to work on Safari for Window 7, though I guess Safari for Windows 7 probably isn't a large market share.
