Add blog page to left navbar on "book" pages #443

This PR makes the left navbar that appears on all the "book"-style pages a bit more comprehensive by including a link to our Blog page.

To make this work, we need to include a placeholder file blog.md with content that gets overwritten by ablog at build time.

This PR includes the changes in #442
