What is the expected behavior?

By click on the input field (not the calendar icon or the arrow) the popup should appear
"Cancel" and "Done" should appear

What is the current behavior?

The popup opened only when click on the icon
the buttons are missing

What are the steps to reproduce?

check in your demo page: http://code.promactinfo.com/md2/#/datepicker

Which versions of Angular, MD2, OS, browsers are affected?

Angular 4.3.6 MD 0.0.28
