Is there a way to change language for LLama 2? #530

Hi,

i'm currently playing around with german language and documents and used the multilingual embedding models quite successfully. However when running LLama 2-Chat-7B i will always get answers in english language. So far i tried:

It seems the LLM understands the task and german context just fine but it will only answer in english language. I tried an available online LLama2 Chat and when asking for german, it immediately answered in german.

Anyone knows, what has to be done?

Best to use LeoLM . This is llama-2 trained on high-quality German corpuses.

Russian Russian hello, the same question on the topic, but with the Russian language, when I ask in Russian if he can answer in Russian, he confirms, but at the same time writes in English, how can I change this?
