I have got the ReadyNASOS6.10.9-x86_64.vmdk running in Proxmox showing Welcome to ReadyNASOS nas-55-A4-B3 login:

admin and root with password "password" do not work.

What are the magic word I need to use?

Sorry for the late reply... I can confirm I just tested this on VirtualBox and 'root' / 'password' worked fine. (admin shouldn't)

I can't see why it wouldn't work as expected in Proxmox, but can you try the image in VBox?
