ProtoSchool Sticker! #20

@terichadbourne @mikeal what do ya'll think about getting ProtoSchool a hex sticker? I know @NukeManDan has some events coming up that he'd like stickers for -- no promises but maybe we could even get him some in time if we want to make a sticker.

If this is a good idea I'd bet we could direct some PL design energy to this endeavor :)

We love this idea @jesseclay! I've started the ball rolling through an internal design request at https://github.com/protocol/design/issues/152 Let's follow up on production details there and then I'll circle back here to let chapter organizers know when they're available. Thanks!

@NukeManDan Yeah, sorry. Just dropping myself breadcrumbs to an internal repo but will be sure to follow up here when there’s an update.

We have our design ready to go! (See image below, where the blue line is the cut line).

We're working out printing details now and I'll let everyone know when they're available.

Only possible thing I might suggest - I think the blue boarder is not required - just expanding the logo to fill the space out to that line would be cleaner and more appealing in my opinion, and possibly using the same color background as the website? https://proto.school/ I actually like the present dark color a lot.

@nukemandan unfortunately the border is a necessity to make the cut work consistently. The blue line there now is just to show where the cut will be, it’s not in the design.

@NukeManDan agreed I also like the current darker background, too!

Yeah blue line is just for printing purposes -- let us get you one w/o it so you can make fancy screensavers and stuff :D

To keep things tidy, I've shared instructions on how to obtain stickers in a new issue at: https://github.com/ProtoSchool/organizing/issues/30 I included there an image without the cut line and excess non-printed border, so just what the final product will look like.

@NukeManDan The png file without the excess bleed is now available at https://github.com/ProtoSchool/organizing/blob/master/assets/swag/protoschool_sticker_digital_use_only.png if you'd like to use it for any digital projects. I'll be adding logos to the repo soon.
