📞 ProtoSchool Community Call (ON HOLD) #47

Closed terichadbourne closed 4 years ago

terichadbourne commented 5 years ago

The ProtoSchool Community Call has been put on pause in favor of sharing important updates async via the ProtoSchool newsletter. Please subscribe now for updates on new tutorials and site features, with an option to receive additional news and guidance for local event leaders.

ProtoSchool Community Calls are an opportunity to hear about updates to the ProtoSchool curriculum and user experience, learn about new chapters, and chat with fellow organizers about what's going well in your region. Through our collaboration within the ProtoSchool community we hope to make it easy to get started with decentralized web technologies. Learn more about ProtoSchool's vision and guiding principles in our roadmap.

Our 30-minute monthly calls are typically held at 11:30am Eastern Time (ET) on the first Thursday of the month. (ET follows EST in the winter and EDT in the summer, in accordance with daylight savings time.) Because the treatment of daylight savings times varies worldwide, we encourage you to find us on the IPFS Calendar to ensure you know what time the call is at in your region. The calendar invite includes a link to our meeting agenda/notes and our Zoom link for the video conference, which you can also access by phone if needed.

If you'd like to receive GitHub notifications as a reminder to attend each upcoming meeting, please subscribe to this issue.

To add items to the agenda for upcoming calls, please visit the ProtoSchool Community Call Agenda & Notes doc on Google Drive.

It's hard to schedule meetings that work across all timezones, so we do our best to make it easy to catch up on anything you've missed. View meeting notes and video recordings from past calls.

If you're interested in the IPFS community beyond the ProtoSchool project, you might also enjoy the IPFS Weekly Call, which highlights the awesome projects that dweb enthusiasts are building on top of IPFS, or the IPFS Project Working Group Sync, which is responsible for growth of the IPFS community. Both are listed on the IPFS Calendar.
