New Chapter Request - [Chengdu - CN] #52

Hi,

I would like to start a ProtoSchool chapter for Chengdu, China. I am the tech presenter at IPFS Shanghai Chapter in Shanghai China. I have been working on IPFS related activities for about 2 years, as IPFS evangelist. Now I will move back to Chengdu for remote working with Shanghai IPFS community ,so I get an idea of create New Chapter in Chengdu, because I have lived in Chengdu for ten years before come to Shanghai.

Chengdu is the biggest city and innovation center of China West with lots of talents, Till now there is no IPFS community in the West of China. As an IPFS community, we want to promote the IPFS ecosystem, with distributed system geeks, curious minds and advocates.

A little bit more about myself Before joining IPFS-Force Community, I had been working for Nokia for 6 years(Chengdu), as a Radio Cloud platform tech Arch; and before that, I had been working for distributed storage system for about 6 years (Chengdu).

Co-Organizers I would work with partners in IPFS Chengdu community to organize events(also cooperate with Shanghai Chapter). Anyone who wants to help is very welcomed.

@taoshengshi , very thanks for your support to shanghai chapter's activities. I believe all the attendees are very impressed by your speech regarding VDF and its application in our 2nd session last Sunday. And, I'm very glad to work with you together to evangelize decentralized protocols and storage technologies / implementation around China.

@terichadbourne , I strongly recommend @taoshengshi as an organizer in Chengdu, the biggest economy and technical center in south-west China, where the IPFS related technologies could have many followers and participators if we do it well via an active community. @taoshengshi has more than 10 years of distributed storage research and development experience, and not he is all-in decentralized storage system and its application development. His technical background and deep understanding will absolutely help on IPFS being accepted and population.

@taoshengshi Thanks for volunteering to organize a local chapter!

I've set up a basic chengdu repo for you and given you admin privileges. I've also added you to our chapter-organizers team and the chengdu team you can use to communicate with your members.

Please see the issue queue in your chapter repo for a few final steps that need to be taken in order to get your repo finalized and your chapter listed on our website. Once those steps are complete, we'll close out this setup issue.
