Wrong count of emails #159

Closed JulienPalard closed 3 years ago

It looks like https://github.com/ProtonMail/WebClient/issues/79 but may be a different issue.

Describe the bug The number of unread email / conversations is not always right.

To Reproduce Unknown sadly.

Expected behavior I expect the counter, between parenthesis, to actually reflect the number of either email or conversations in the said folder.

Screenshots In this screenshot, it may be a bit hard to tell, but on the right side there's my inbox with a few emails. Two of them are unread (white, the 7th and 9th message if first is one). But the count tells (1): protonmail-counts

In this specific case, if I mark as read one of them, the count drops to 0. I tried on both. One of them is a conversation, the other is simply an email.

Desktop:

Additional context I use my session for several days, so as the time of writing my uptime is 25 days, my Firefox process was started 9 days ago, I did not reloaded the Protonmail tab during those 9 days.

Happened again today, right after an "Empty spam", left column show I have 5 spams and right column displays a single one (Which is probably also another bug, as after clicking "Empty spam" I expect to see 0, not 1 (yes, it disappeared like 10 or 20 seconds later by itself and the count went to 0 (dissapearing))).
