Column name changes:
col 1: "Year protection applied" is now "Year granted"
col 4: "Who" is now "Inventor(s)"
col 9:"Sources and notes (see Sources worksheet for details)", is now "Sources"
New columns at end -- can ignore/drop these for now:
col 18: Assigned to [name (fraction); place]
col 19: Patent agent
col 20: National/Local
col 21: International
Include these countries only for now: br, ca, de, es, fr, no, us, ru
(and ignore capitalization differences in country abbr)
Please drop any record missing either country or year.
At least 4000 records should survive that screening.
