Issues with SolarEdge Optimizer Integration - Seeking Community Input #64

Hello GitHub Community,

I’m reaching out to inquire if anyone else is experiencing issues with the SolarEdge Optimizer Integration. For some context, I utilize this integration to calculate my PV yield. However, over the past few days, I’ve been encountering some odd readings specifically related to the consumption sensors for the total yield.

The values seem to be inconsistent and not reflective of the actual output. Before I delve deeper into troubleshooting this on my own, I wanted to check if this is a common issue that others are facing or if it’s isolated to my setup.

Any insights, suggestions, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. If you’ve faced similar issues and found a workaround or a solution, I’d be eager to hear about it.

Hi, yes, same issue here since a few days. Today, even no data at all shown. No clue what the reason might be, but on SE Web all data is ok.

I can also confirm that there are sometimes problems. That the values are not updated. Restarting the application solves the problem. Even in the evening the values remain the same and are only set to zero 2-3 hours after sunset. I also built an automation if the values are not updated for an hour that the app restarts. This also happens a few mql a week.

Hi, sorry that the answer is only now. It seems like the integration is working again. But I will check it again and then give feedback

Here is my history. Doesn't look so bad In relation to my question about the query intervals (between sunrise and sunset) whether it would be possible to increase the resolution.

Several total_increase values of SolarEdge reset and/or jump back sometimes. See this for e.g. Battery Charged.

I wonder if there is a method in HA to deal with this jump back and smartly continue incrementing at the last maximum.

any better results now?

i to see that the value of total energy are sometimes adjusted down. not sure why the portal is doing that.. very strange.
