N64 Games do not really Pause when in Menu #1360

N64 games do not pause when playing and the Menu button is pressed. It plays much slower, but does not pause it seems.

Expected:

The game should pause when in the Menu.

Actual:

The game does not pause.

Reproduce:

  1. Play any N64 game.
  2. Pause it by pressing the Menu button on the Nimbus controller.

Can't believe I never noticed this before. If you pause a game with a clock and unpause, the clock has advanced eg; MarioKart

Confirmed on latest Provenance. Please fix this. The distorted audio is painful enough, but it also screws with saving and restoring states. Provenance needs to tell the core to freeze when the menu is displayed.
