"Pause Menu" on PSX not accessible when using Xbox Wireless Controller #1893

"Pause Menu" on PSX not accessible when using Xbox Wireless Controller connected over BT.

  1. No Pause Menu button is present on-screen.
  2. Neither button on controller nor MFi combo triggers Pause Menu:
    • Controller's HOME button (illuminated) closes app and takes me to iPad Home Screen. MENU button (aka hamburger button) does exact same thing. VIEW button, allows to take screenshots or recording video (by default), but even if I disable this function under iPadOS settings, it still does nothing in Provenance.
### Expected: 1. Implement "Pause Menu" trigger by one of the controller's buttons or MFi combo or, 2. Keep "Pause Menu" on screen button when Wireless Xbox Controller is used (same as when on-screen controller is used). ### Actual: No way to trigger "Pause Menu"

Reproduce:

  1. Pair Xbox Wireless Controller with iPad
  2. Run Provenance with default settings and start game from ROM.
  3. "Pause Menu" won't be accessible.

Unfortunately, I don't have any Xbox controllers to test (nor a dual sense actually).

I created an Amazon Wishlist if someone wants to send one my way.
