Hello,
I have been using NZBHydra2 and Jackett to consolidate all of my indexers into a few tools versus having to manage them independently. Now with Prowlarr, those have been eliminated and the management is much simpler.
Prowlarr, like Jacket and NZBHydra2 has the ability to search all of the configured indexers and show the results. This works great for things I want to query that are not tracked by the other *arr programs.
One of usenet indexers I use has the ability to save favorite searches. it updates a results page daily and you can go to the 'Searches' page to see what new items have shown up in the last 30 days including when the new items made it onto the list. So you can easily see what is new and then just click the download link on that page and it sends it off the the download client.
It would be awesome to uplevel this capability into prowlarr so you could have a similar capability across all indexers and types (usenet/torrent).
This is probably outside the initial scope of prowlarr, but would be a great addition.
