'Enter' change behavior

I cannot get path to reproduce that, but on my laptop it happens sometimes that 
the only one 'enter' i have on keyboard sometimes behave different way: always 
ti sends message but sometimes it makes new line!

When suddenly 'enter' makes new line, i can close tab and reopen chat window 
and 'enter' sends message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?!

Hmmm, the only i can say that it happens if i write/chat long messages.... i 
think, i tried to reproduce but it didnt happen, when i stop to think about it 
then it sudenly happen:):) cant reproduce :(... for now.

Now it happened, enter now makes new line and i noticed that ESC is not working 
now and doesnt close tab. i must close it with mouse click. Reopen chat window 
and all is correct.:) strange, still dont know what makes this change... it 
looks like shortcuts are turned off???

I have still open chat window, enter has change and makes new line instead of 
send message, suddenly my contact sent me a message and... enter now sends 
message and Esc close tab... hmmm it look like message from contact turn on and 
off shortcuts or something...

Yes, it seems that is some cases shortcuts stops working in chat window.

Hmmm, cannot say exactly, but from time to time, sometimes at once, sometimes 
after longer time, i was trying to reproduce, but... cannot get regularity :(

It seems that it happens if i write lots of text (at least 3 lines...) it 
changes behavior and the only way to send is to click button with mouse to send 
:(

If you use the Enter
which is not on the Numpad
I have never had a problem with sending text

On next:
1. QT 4.7.1 kde 4.5.5
2. QT 4.7.1 Windows 7

I had it now, and i have the only one 'enter' on my laptop keyboard. and after 
one or two 'sends' by clicking icon i can use back the 'enter' as a send (not 
as a new line maker)
