6 years ago Economy related placeholders are done by the PlaceHolder API service and something that cannot be fixed this side. I just call the PlaceHolder API method to retrieve all placeholders, if there's an issue getting the economy ones that doesn't occur with normal/pixelmon placeholders then its due to the economy plugin itself (and how its default methods store and access data).
As you can see from your Spark post, the overwhelming majority (8914ms out of 8915ms) are due to either Sponges Econ service, or EconomyLite itself. So it'd be something you'd have to talk to EconomyLite about.
Looking into a server's lag, I discovered that TabManager seems to have quite the toll on performance when updating, especially with simultaneous issues in updating economy-related placeholders.
