Able to use proxyman with iOS physical device at my home network but not with office network. What could be the reason? #2014

Description

When I work from home office - I am able to use proxyman with vpn and ios physical device without any issue but when I visit my office and connect it there, keeping everything same I get safari can't open the page

What is different from my home network to office network which I can ask to change?

Can you check if your Firewall allows incoming traffic?

hey @findms sorry for the late reply.

May I ask:

  1. Is it the same Macbook, that you use on your Office and at home?
  2. On Proxyman, please verify:
    • Setting -> General Tab -> Advanced Proxy Setting -> Uncheck Only Listen on Localhost
    • Tool menu -> Proxy Setting -> Access Control -> Select Allow All

@NghiaTranUIT Yes same macbook. and Proxyman has both these setting already.

so, it's definitely your company's Wi-Fi. It might block all remote connections. You should ask your Security Team to open the port 9090 or make it public, so the remote device can proxy too.

@NghiaTranUIT team tried but unfortunately it still did not solved. Do you have any doc where we can see what exactly we need to check or do to make port 9090 as public? Thanks
