Clicking outside the modal in the scrim to close the modal is a pretty standard pattern, and as a user I'd expect that to work. However, it doesn't seem to be the case here. You also can't press esc
to close the modal either. Instead, you need to clic the tiny "Cancel" button.
The delete file modal could be made more intuitive:
The icon looks like Window's BSOD, which I don't think is appropriate in this case since you're simply deleting a file, not crashing the app.
The modal header should also probably be changed from "Are you sure?", which isn't too descriptive, to something like "Delete file?". Then the body text coud be changed from "Are you sure you want to delete this file" to something more precise, like "Are you sure you want to delete myProgram.psc?". This is to remind the user what they are deleting.
Finally, you should probably change the copy of the CTA button on this modal ("I'm Sure") to something like "Delete file" or "Yes, delete this file". Again, this would make the action of the button clearer. You're unlikely to read the entire modal, and only scan the button. But because the current "I'm Sure" label doesn't necessarily convey a potentially destructive action, it coud be a bit misleading.
