Reviewing all these - putting my notes in here.
https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/Support/issues/46 - Tried a search in safari and it worked. One thing I noticed was that the version listed was 12.X which is from 2018. Perhaps an issue with older versions of safari?
Looks like https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/Support/issues/81 showing the same symptom, on the same older version
@bakerac4 We just received another query re: 12.X so it could be an issue with the browser version. https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/Support/issues/332
I note that these queries cover Safari 11.X (2017) to 14.X (2020).
Yea, its most likely an issue using an older version of the browser. https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/PEP-Web-User-Interface/pull/649 is the only thing I have found so far. Im going to have QA here give a once over in safari to find anything else.
https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/Support/issues/337 Recent Safari issue, 15.X
Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/Support#337 Recent Safari issue, 15.X
I'd be interested to know if not using a discovery service to make that page look odd fixed it in safari.
If you guys want me to spend time to reproduce that one, Ill need access to a "discovery service such as ExLibris, EBSCO, etc.,"
I was able to reproduce 1 issue which has now been fixed. Most of these issues neither I nor the QA team here were able to reproduce.
@bakerac4 Can you provide more details of the fix for Safari https://github.com/Psychoanalytic-Electronic-Publishing/PEP-Web-User-Interface/pull/649 so we can test with a Mac on Stage?
From your general testing, and for the purposes of user support, it would be helpful to know which versions of the Safari browser are understood not to function with the website, e.g., 12.X, 14.X, etc.

I don't have a Mac anymore to replicate, but see these issues where problems have been reported:

There may be others... @SophieMBennett If there are others, please link here so that when Gavant goes to handle/fix they can deal with them all.
