Installation of Cryptomatte 1.2 on Fusion 9 (Free Version) #52

Hi all!

Please, anybody have tried to install the new version of Cryptomatte (1.2)? At github manual (https://github.com/Psyop/Cryptomatte#fusion-installation) there are folders that I couldn't found in Fusion installation folder. So I've created these folders but now Fusion open with this error:

fusion_cryptomate_error

So I ask: What is the right procedure to install Cryptomatte 1.2 on Fusion 9?

Thanks in advance for help me with this matter.

Hi Yohann.

Are you using Fusion 9.0.1?

Is the "cryptomatte_utilities.lua" file installed on your system at: C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 9\lua\cryptomatte_utilities.lua?

How did you download the files from GitHub? Did you use the "Clone or Download" button, or the Releases tab? If you try and save the file to disk using your Web Browsers File > Save As menu item it can often download the files as an HTML webpage.

Hi Andrew,

First of all, thank you so much for so fast reply.

The Fusion free version is 9.0.1 build 3

Yes, I've created the folder /lua because I can't find this folder after Fusion installation.

I did the download of the zip file through "Clone or download" green button. And take the files inside Cryptomatte-master.zip\Cryptomatte-master\fusion.

To help me with compatibility checking, what version of Windows are you running?

yohanndageb commented 6 years ago

Windows 10 Pro

Hi!

Problem solved.

I made some mistakes. I've created the LUA_PATH environment variable. And I just put the cryptomatte.fuse in the root of C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 9\Fuses.

So after delete the LUA_PATH environment variable and paste the cryptomatte.fuse inside the Blackmagic folder at C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\Fusion 9\Fuses\Blackmagic works perfect!
