Notes and Results Resume Testing SPI Interface Firmware
After the problems during previous weeks with the rework messing up the I2C bus were resolved resume testing of the firmware.
On 20230124 during the team meeting and after resolving some fear on Lee's part of working with GitHub branches Lee has loaded the GPAD_API_SPI_CONTROLLER firmware into GPAD S#6. The corresponding firmware GPAD_API for the Peripheral loaded into GPAD S#2.
Results SUCCESS.
The controller is sending messages to the peripheral successfully.
The controller is stepping through alarm levels 0 through 5 and the LCD display is reporting the levels. The LIGHTs are incremented and now with the 2W moving could speaker the audio tones are all very interlegible.
Lee also tested sending concurrently commands into the Peripheral with the serial interface and it still works.
The Mute button on the Peripheral works as before.
