Project Topic

The project's primary goal is to introduce the audience to ubiquitous computing and cybersecurity, through the construction, use and development of embedded systems and a guided Wi-Fi ethical hacking experience. At its core, the project contains a lesson plan of no less than three chapters intended to be followed by an individual, group, or class.

Software/Hardware Bill of Materials (SBOM, BOM)

The project's emphasis on hands-on experience with embedded systems require that the audience has adequate access to necessary physical equipment and materials. A tools BOM and a parts BOM will prescribe necessary items (e.g. soldering iron, jumper wire, microcontroller circuit board, battery.) The BOMs may also include region and country specific tips for finding or purchasing these items.

The code portion of the project builds on prior work of the open source software community. A SPDX Software BOM (SBOM) will describe all open source projects utilized in this project.

Added hardware BOM in 15620f3. All line items are from either Adafruit or Amazon; items marked with [DEV] are for development or prototyping - an end user may possibly not need to buy them.
