Unable to connect second controller on switch #330

Second controller is not connecting

second controller on switch is able to join the local game

Is the "Generating World" error occuring when connecting to the local game server? If so it's probably an issue with the game server itself, as it wouldn't be on BedrockConnect at that point.

I don't know much about multi-controller setups, so I'll have to do some testing.

I'm not clear on exactly what you're trying to accomplish, but it sounds like you may be trying to play splitscreen with the Switch on the server. Everything I've read says that's not possible, that only one Switch player can play on a server at any given time.

Yes, I wanted to play split screen. And it looks like the second controller is not finding it's way to the local server, since it is not going to the special server selection dialog, where I can select the local server. :-(

Split screen on Switch should work regardless of local or server, and I don't see how bedrock connect could impact on this at all. Can confirm split screen working on all recent Minecraft client versions for Switch.
