Having trouble to connect on 1.20.12 #437

What happened?

I’ve tried to add a server using both the main pugmatt ip address and the jdex ip address. I saw that there was an update that said that this process works for version 1.20.10/11 but I wanted to ask if it worked for 1.20.12 on the switch and if it does could I get some help connecting.

Expected Behaviour?

I expect to connect to the server but it times me out before I can connect

I just had a friend connect successfully to my server on his Switch last night, running 1.20.12. Do you have another device such as a phone to test with to isolate the issue?

I do not. I'll try again tomorrow evening, I'm about to call it a night.

What was the server they joined and dns they used so I can try those?

It's a private server operated by myself so unfortunately I don't feel comfortable giving out the details. You can test with link.geysermc.org though.

So I was kind of able to connect to that server using the jdex dns (the pug Matt one didn't work), but I'm just in a black void on the server.
