bedrock connect breaks mc java installation???? #536

What happened?

i wanted to make a bedrock connect server for my xbox on my pc set up bedrock connect e.z.t. the next day i wanted to play mc java on the same computer and i could not connect to any server. and even after reinstalling mc it does not work

Expected Behaviour?

the bedrock connect does not break my pc or mc instalition?

Steps to reproduce.

1.install bedrock connect with umleitung

  1. use bedrock connect
  2. play minecraft java

Java Edition and Bedrock Edition are two separate game versions, it is not possible for it to touch your the Java Edition version of the game. Sounds like you are connecting to servers that are down, or the servers aren't on Java Edition. (Java Edition cannot connect to servers on Bedrock Edition / Pocket Edition)

Also check if you had set your DNS settings on your PC or router during your BedrockConnect setup, if so try setting the DNS back to automatic.
