Hi Samuel, hope you are doing well. Loving this addon. I was able to install it and it works awesomely. Thanks for making it and sharing with other artists.

Wanted to humbly ask if this is possible and could be added with your addon: Tessellation of surfaces creating edge loops around colors edges: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/ENU/Maya-Modeling/files/GUID-79763ED5-E7BD-408B-937B-92743EDDF57A-htm.html image_topology The image above is from Maya.

I prefer the tessellation of your addon tbh.

This is an example of a surface I created with a tiled color id map: screenshot Is it possible to create the tessellation on the surface with the topology creating edge loops where the colors meet? I am guessing it might be too much calculation to create so many edge loops based on the tiling with the surface tessellated so maybe the untiled one would be more doable?

More power to you. Excellent work, mate.

Many thanks.

Hi, Happy that it is of some use to you. The idea is really good and I wondered already if there was a way to do this. But I cannot do it now for several reason. The two main ones being:

All that said, I really appreciate your feedback and kind words. I'll see if I can work on it again in the future.

Have a nice blend.

Yeah, I noticed it works with only blender 2.92 which is fine as I can always use that version for this addon when I need to but hopefully the author of the triangle libraries updates it and no worries.

Thanks for taking the time to reply back being as you are very busy. I really appreciate it. Take all the time you need.

All the best and again thank you for sharing this addon with other artists.

Cheers
