Thanks for the hint. I'll take a look at it when I get some time. I use Google translate and there's a built-in language editor where users can make corrections and submit revisions. I didn't know about crowdin, but if it can help get people interested in fixing translations, that would be great.
Crowdin isn't free for libre software, it requires them to be non-commercial. That means no source of income. Crowdin isn't a libre software project itself either. I guess the broken usability is somewhat subjective, but the spying scripts and ugly business methods aren't. Be that as it may, Weblate is its counterpart, and you may also look at Pontoon which is what Mozilla uses for their projects. Hosted Weblate is actually gratis for libre software projects.
Get it, thanks for the tips. So are you gonna use Weblate? if so, send me the link.
take care

@Pulover I can help set it up on Hosted Weblate. I am no expert, but I am learning.
@comradekingu yes, sure. All help is welcome. Thank you.
Tried, but can't figure out what ".lang" files are, or if they are even supported.
.lang is just a custom extension. They are simple text files parsed by the program on startup.
Its going to have to be one of https://docs.weblate.org/en/latest/formats.html?highlight=supported%20formats#supported-file-formats , some of which are at-least very similar.
Well, they are basically INI format with tabs.
Maybe you should upload PMC on crowdin.com (totally free for open source project) So more people can help you in translating your software. The current translation is in poor quality.
