Desktop shortcut disappears and install fails #247

Hello Pulover team

I have a serious issue with the program, when running a PMC file, the desktop shortcut deletes itself. I have had this happen on two separate occasions and the macros have been different each time. I have also had a headscratcher of an issue trying to install/repair MacroCreator. It says that I have no permission to access the file. I have provided a Problem Screen Recorder file that you can look at, it contains all of the steps related to the failed installation.

Unfortunately I didn't take a recording of the desktop icon and pmc disappearing and I am running this from a remote desktop. To make matters worse, my laptop has a dead battery and it makes me enter boot mode manually, thus I will have to restart in order for the app to install properly again. However, the app will experience the same issue again until it is fixed. Regarding the problem screen recorder file, this is almost word for word what my email said back in September of 2022 and I attached it thusly.

I don't know if I understand this right. You say that the programs desktop icon is deleted and when you play a macro...? I don't know how this could be related. I'll try to find your email and see if I can make any tests. I've just recently fixed my windows laptop and I'm trying to find some motivation to work on pmc again.

I know it sounds strange, but when you read the email and look at the pdf of the problem screen recorder zip file. watch the video you will see the issue. I think there is a video pdf. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to answer. Have a great day.
