Search functionality - enable WordPress search into single pane results #13

Resolution for now on the missing search string... The two-pane search results are intended to show:

  1. Results from the session catalog. This is what is produced by the missing code from Active. We may not have this for a couple weeks, so let's chat with Joel about this on our call because it will be in his court to add.
  2. A local search, like the WP search functionality.

So let's implement that WP search functionality now, and until Joel adds that Active search code, it will display single-pane results with just that.

Please check out the search functionality when you get a chance.

I checked it out in Chrome and Safari on Mac with cleared caches. Entered term in search bar, but there doesn't seem to be any way for me to make it submit. The enter key doesn't work.

Just had a friend test on Mac...it's working fine. Are you sure you're checking my site on not the clients? chrome

Ah got it. I was checking on your server, but thewplab.com/cisco not /cisco-us. Sorry about that.

Ron, is it possible to bold the search term in the results? That would go a long way to making the results a bit more digestible!

This is going to be a little time consuming. Can we hold off and see what their API/code includes so that we just don't end up scrapping this?
