cmd_searchlight: allow for different types of QEs #179

ATM just IndexQueryEngine, but we do have all kinds of fancy surface based ones, which could e.g. be pre-trained and saved into .hdf5 to be provided/used here as a QE for the Searchlight

Indeed. Do you see the need for an API change to support this, or could an additional option ala --surface-based be sufficient on the outside?

well -- there could be different kinds of surface-based: on surface as result, or just using surface for guidance... sure we could come up with some option which would switch between those schemes.

I guess we could indeed figure out additional options needed for this later, thus allocating to the next release
