Re "At the moment the Soviet (and early Russian) Navy is lacking a naval minesweeping helicopter.": as far as I know, during the Soviet era, the Mi-14BT Haze B - 1984 (Mine Sweeper) was used for that task. land based though.

At the moment the Soviet (and early Russian) Navy is lacking a naval minesweeping helicopter. Ka-25BT were famously used in 1974 Suez Canal Clearance Operation. They were also used to clear the Red Sea from the Libya's mines in 1984.
