there were a few aerial bomb variants which I removed. You just can't find a lot of information on Romanian weapons in general and having 3 types of the same aerial-bomb class where only the fin section or fuze is different (from what I can see in photos) makes it even more confusing. From what I found out F stands for retarded (BEF-100). Then there is supposedly (found this on Key Aero) B- Bomb, A-Aircraft, E- Explosive, M- Mine. And now you have BA-250 (only rear fuze, I think), , BE-250 (rear and front fuze), BM-250 (circular tail-fins instead of rectangular), BM-250E... BAEF-250L (Mk-82 copy, not in use on the IAR-93), BEM-100 (???) good luck with that but maybe someone from Romania knows more about these types. But anyways 90% of photographs show the BA-100/250/500 series for the IAR-93 Vultur.
