I want to leave some comment here,

Range

ASM-3A is in production because ASM-3's max range is shorter than counterpart's SAM (likely HHQ-9 series). ASM-3's max range was believed around 200km or less(<=100nm, which is shorter than HHQ-9), and ASM-3 Kai which is currently under developing has range of ~400km(215nm), thus I believe the max range of ASM-3A is around ~300km(160nm).

Seeker

No IIR Seeker, even for ASM-3

Level cruise capability

I believe ASM-3A is NOT capable to do level cruise flight in long range shot.

There is another image illustration for original ASM-3, which is showing both level flight shooting and shooting from high altitude. While CMO cannot provide simulation that changes Max Range at specific altitude, we can simply omit level flight version or make two of them as variant.

Puls, this article for ASM-3A I will put has another illustration image, quoted from weapon developing department of Japan. It is just a illustration, but we can guess level cruise flight is not likely a plan for ASM-3Kai, then ASM-3 does not have it, too, I believe.
