Regarding mines, KMD-2-500 were phased out long before Nestin class minesweepers were built, instead 6 heavier AIM-M.70 bottom mines could be carried during the 1970s (CWDB) and during the 80s and later on 8 shorter and lighter AIM-M.82 or 24 GMI-100 Rockan bottom mines (DB3K). I made a request for a mine magazine for Yugoslav ships which can hold different mines. I thought it might be interesting for a navy which is more defensive in nature: #1574
