Wow, that's a really cool concept. I can see some really interesting scenario possibilities for operations in the Adriatic littoral with these. Did they ever load it with light cargo and just use it as a normal landing craft? That would further increase the usefulness of it.
That's exactly what I had in mind. Because of their speed they come in very handy for transporting slow SDVs. Yes they did, BDČ-91 boats which were used by the Danube flotilla and are about the same size and type could transport 25 soldiers with their equipment. The only info for BDČ-81 boats is 3 tons of cargo. Based on their size they should have roughly 18 sqm of cargo space. I'm going to add this to the request. Then it's up to scenario creators to decide wether these boats are loaded with troops or submersibles and likewise wether DBM landing craft carry troops/tanks/AShM TELs or lay sea mines.

Fast landing craft operated only by the 82nd Maritime Center a Yugoslav version of the Navy Seals. Purchased from the United Kingdom in 1976. The BDČ-81 would transport commandos/divers and their swimmer delivery vehicles.
