I'm working on this but there is no sign of this on an in service system in the wild. The in sevice date end of 2024 is speculative but there is clearly an urgent need to counter UAS FPV attack drones . Suspect it will be forced rushed into service as an urgent operational requirement. To be quad packed in place of any current single tube of the Pantsir S1/2 SM etc.

Will update as I find stuff.

Not sure if it's HTK because I think that would require some type of terminal guidance. But all Pantsir models have 4 target channels for illumination: 1 via electro-optical/IR channel and 3 radar channels. All CLOS. mini missile probably uses radio proximity fuse detonation similar to the standard pantsir missile and extended range one

also speaking of pantsir-sm, its sensors need to be updated/tweaked, the acquisition radar is a confirmed AESA and the FCR is a small hybrid-PESA/AESA design that is speculated to use a small amount of T/R modules AND phase shifters (combining PESA and AESA function) + a horn feed as a transmitter. This is unconfirmed, the FCR is most likely a PESA.

Devs and others, please feel free to add to and explore Pantsir-SM update/tweaks which can be added to my request at #4235

both pantsir-sm facilities need to change FCR to the SOTS [1RS1-3E-RLM] used by serbian pantsir-s2/s1m. Current FCR used by pantsir-sm is not correct. Also, mini missiles have no datalink with any FCR and cannot launch from the tests I've tried.

It appears the new missile for the SM does indeed use a HTK inert warhead, it doesn't necessarily need a Ku/Ka band active radar seeker, but can use a Ku/ka band FCR instead. As for the number of target channels, that has been increased to 16 for the new mini missiles TBK-1055. But for the regular missiles and the new hypersonic HTK 57E6M, I believe the target channels remain at 4.

The new FCR of the SM is indeed though at the very least a type of PESA antenna design, if not a combination of both PESA/AESA. And it would have to operate in at the very least the J/K bands to enable any HTK missile to impact a target using SARH guidance/FCR illumination.

SAM has a research designation 19Ya6 as well as the factory mark. Have seen a figure of 700ms speed and both 7km and 10km given as ramge. (TKB-1055)
