There is a notable difference between the AGM-158B2 and the AGM-158D

The AGM-158B-2 resolves obsolescence, enhances software code from Ada to C++, upgrades to the Electronic Safe and Arm Fuze (ESAF), and upgrades the missile control unit (MCU). And is in production since 2024.
