Summary of Changes

• [ ] Change tech level to Early 2010s. First showed up in 2014.
• [ ] Modify its Band to single B / VHF - Band (300MHz). Most source indicate that it uses VHF Band or "meter-wave" and to avoid Dual-Band bug. Anti-stealth radar can't get both far detection range and accuracy, the A and B band radar in the game shows that.
• [ ] May add ABM-Space Search feature.
• [ ] Give it a Type 780 & TPY-4 (Sensor 6954 & 7403) specifications template (peakpower, vertical/horizontal beamwidth, noise level, gain/loss etc). I find the current setting of values very strange (Xtremely high peak power, and way too large beamwidth, noise and loss level compared to most surface-to-air surveillance radars developed in the 2010s). To accord with "Detceting F-22 from Shandong peninsula”, it needs a range of detection of at least 243nm against F-22A in game.

The radar reflection characteristics of stealth fighters must have some difference with other aircraft, otherwise they would not specifically emphasize this point. If you use the existing TPY-4 template, it should achieve this effect in the UHF band. At least with the game's realistic radar detection simulation, this is possible.

Wu Jianqi also confirmed at a report meeting at Anhui University that the advanced anti-stealth meter-wave radar deployed by China detected the US F-22 450 kilometers away in 2013 and mapped the latter's flight trajectory.

However, John Wise, a UK-based radar specialist, said the Lockheed 3DELRR is a "G-band (5.4GHz) radar and has nothing whatsoever in common with the JY-26, other than shape." If JY-26 has true anti-stealth aircraft detection and tracking capability, it would need to operate down the bottom end of the UHF band (250-350MHz, actually B/VHF Band in game), he said.
