HUD doesn't add buttons/etc on research #14

As an example, if you beeline charting from full default settings, you don't see the charting button unless you go into map settings and toggle autowarp or similar to regenerate the HUD. This occurs with no other mods (base/planetorio 0.1.3/warptorio2 1.3.5), singleplayer, factorio 1.1.50.

(I can see the code that looks like it's supposed to call ResetHUD, not sure what the bug is)

I've also encountered this (mod version 1.3.9). Researched charting as the first "reactor ability" and no UI appeared. Then researched warp pre-charging, and the UI for both charting and pre-charging appeared. For anyone else with this issue, a workaround might be to try researching a second reactor ability.
