I used the dmg for m1 silicon. The app installs and all preferences look good. I set the security preference. I get the notification that the key mode has changed when switching to the desired app (Davinci Resolve) but no change in functionality.

Fluor works on my M2 Mac with Monterey 12.6.1. (I installed Flour using brew. Don't know if that makes a difference.)

works for me on Ventura 13.0.1, M1, fresh install from homebrew

CodeMason commented 1 year ago

karabiner elements broke it. (if you disable karabiner elements, Flour works again.)

huyz commented 1 year ago

@CodeMason do we have to completely disable karabiner elements?

CodeMason commented 1 year ago

pretty much, yes. An update to karabiner elements now completely hooks the function keys, so changing the macOS system settings (which is how fluor works) does nothing now.

I'm having the same not working issue… I don't have Karabiner but I have a Keychron K8 Pro keyboard and Fluor just seems to not like it… It works with the Magic Keyboard!
