[Bug]: App ID is not detected in database #734

Open jyashi opened 6 months ago

jyashi commented 6 months ago

Version

Command-line (Python) version

Operating System

Windows 10

What happened?

According to https://github.com/Pythagora-io/gpt-pilot/issues/446#issuecomment-1871207470 the prompt history should be stored in gpt-pilot\pilot\gpt-pilot which i can confirm exists however the app id is not detected when running --get-created-apps-with-steps. I can confirm that i did receive an app id the last time i created an app using gpt-pilot.

same here. Except I did receive the app_id when running cli, but I did not write it down. And I cant find any way to retrieve the app_id.

I am attempting to 'import' a previous project using the "gpt-pilot" file, but it doesnt seem to recognize the app. Now both cli and using the vscode extension cannot see my previous apps. I dont know what happened or how to restore that functionality.

Any assistance in troubleshooting would be appreciated!

This sounds like there might be another GPT installation that was used to build the apps so there's a database somewhere else.

Can you try the following:

  1. Start creating an app with python main.py
  2. It's enough to just go to the first task planning step, you can interrupt it then
  3. Check for the existence of the app, it should be the list
