Ballots are sent via Voting Bot no-reply@mail.heliosvoting.org to active core team members. Voting will be available through December 14 (anywhere on earth)
Candidates must be nominated by a core team member. If the candidate is a core team member, they may nominate themselves.

The steering council is a 5-person committee responsible for:
Maintain the Python language and CPython interpreter
Make contributing accessible, inclusive, and sustainable
Maintain the relationship between the core team and the PSF
Making Decisions on PEPs
Seek consensus among contributors and the core team
Act as a “court of final appeal” for decisions
Candidates must be nominated by a core team member. If the candidate is a core team member, they may nominate themselves.
