@im-machakata Thank you for setting this up, I like what you did with the .github folder. We are using GitHub now, but we might move to a different provider in the future, so I prefer that we keep GitHub-specific files and configuration in the .github folder and everything else in the project root or its respective locations.

The GitHub UI will find and display the contributors, readme and license docs just fine if they are in the project root folder so let's move those files back there.
