I'd suggest extending the docs a bit with some examples (and possibly some animated gifs). I have a feeling most people won't understand what the package does otherwise.

I definitely understand that the package isn't doing a very good job of selling itself. However, taking making animated GIFs is a very involved process (several hours) with my current setup, so it's on my long-range list of things to do.
