Just added some more commits from different issues, I'm now done with the branch.

Thank you, @dschoenig! I performed a quick check while comparing it with previous versions of the workshop. I can see a large improvement with respect to the linearity, clarity and mathematical explanation! I will perform a more detailed review soon and get back to you!
