I’ve really enjoyed the new changes to the battle mechanics^1 and I think it leads to a number of interesting questions.

In the spirit of how the old guide got started, I’ll start by listing a few below.

(I’ve set a goal of creating a new, TTR-focused guide over the course of the next year, but we’ll see how it goes …)

Which track should you make organic?

I’m not sure that my opinion here has fundamentally changed, but I’d like to provide a detailed description of the options.

What’s the best strategy to use when … ?

Getting increased Cog levels (and the prospect of the changes becoming more widespread) was by far my favorite part of the update.

I’ve always been a fan of multi-track strategies and the increased levels have only made them more important.

(I’m also working on a tool to provide on-the-fly, battle-relevant strategy advice.)

Should you use restock barrels as you pass them? (#8)

The racing guide I’ve always wanted to write … #6

A cog-by-cog strength analysis (#3)

I think this is probably the most important unexplored (at least publicly) area of Toontown strategy.

A Field Office strategy guide

I've created a v2 branch for the new guide. I also set it up to be built with mdBook (preview at: https://qed1224.github.io/Toontown-Resources/).
