This is the same PR as #18 which I accidentally deleted. Still has to be rebased onto the newest dev, but the merge conflicts aren't quite trivial.

We will close this in favor of the latest introduction of PhaseSpacePoint and the implementation of Compton scattering. (cf. #52, #59, #63, #68)
