Slow Run Time/Fast ROS/No Backing Fire

Describe the issue I noted three issues with the following 1.2x5 km homogeneous simulation (Bulk density=0.56, FMC = 2.5, fuel depth = 0.3, wind speed = 6):

70.5-hr to run 2-hr of simulation time.
ROS is nearly twice that of what I was getting out of QFVD4.
Backing fire was substantially reduced when compared to QFVD4.

Screenshots QFVD5.0.0: The simulation hit the end of the domain around 3700s, but I didn't have auto kill on. fuel_dens_Time_3700_s_Plane_xy_1 QFVD4.0.1: The previous version had a slower ROS and more substantial backing fire.
